Deserted in Normandy
A travel/documentary diary from Norman coasts.
Photographs featured in this series depict personal feelings towards the natural surroundings during this trip.
Somehow, Normandy felt very quiet and uninhabited. Even when there were people walking on the beach, hiking or just being the nature - it still seemed like they were just scattered around within this vast, enormous landscape. The aims of these photographs are to explore the environment and highlight the ‘emptiness’ of some places I visited.
This sense of ‘isolation’ was very soothing at times but also very melancholic, as it often made Normandy look and feel very deserted.
